Once a year the Hawaii Island Contractor’s Association holds a special dinner for our legislators.
This year the guest speakers were Russell Kokubun and Faye Hanohano.
Russell was an excellent speaker and took some heat from the association regarding budgets and public work.
Faye was a no show. We understand that situations arise and on occasions and guests have to cancel but she didn’t even call. I hope that all those who voted for her will think twice next term even though we’re stuck with her poor performance for another 18 months.
