It's now nearly 7 weeks later and we're still nowhere near it.

Touching that you're so concerned about us in Hawaii. We don't like these high gas prices but we still come out ahead - no need for air conditioning or heating.

I think when most of us moved here we knew well that some things are more expensive. Screwed? I don't think so. Many things here are much cheaper than most places on the mainland. Maybe it evens out and maybe it doesn't but I still can't think of anyplace on the mainland I'd rather be than here. Drive less, bike or walk more.
