Chain sharpening
#1
I used to take my chains to Kea'au Ace for sharpening. They don't offer that service anymore. Who else is doing it in the Puna area? Yes, I already know that they are not that hard to sharpen.

We have had to use garden exchange.... definitely not the deal it was at Ace...

hit the floor each morning, the devil says

"Oh Crap, She's up!"

Files and a guide cost about $10 at Lowes. You should be touching up your chain every other fill up anyway.

Doc Stanley's in Hilo (in an industrial strip mall along Manono) does a good job of chain sharpening as well as of repairing Shindaiwa weed-whackers and chainsaws.
