Free crack pipes grant money for Hawaii
#1
As part of the build back better program and racial diversity. Is a wonderful program that will help those who are addicted be able to smoke their crack in safety and style. I know this will be a godsend to the disproportionate amount of addicted individuals in puna. We all also know that Hawaii is all about grants so this will surely benefit the locals. And if you think im kidding. Its real.

Free government crack pipes is fake news, because commentators & politicians were trolling for social media likes:

“No federal funding will be used directly or through subsequent reimbursement of grantees to put pipes in safe smoking kits,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and White House drug policy adviser Rahul Gupta said in a joint statement.

Misleading claims about the HHS program dominated social media early Wednesday, many of them from conservative commentators and Republican politicians sharing memes and tweets that received tens of thousands of likes.

Xavier is just trying to polish a turd. No matter what they say after they were called out: the allowance was/is in the HHS Notice of grant application.

No matter what they say...

At least what they say is backed by evidence.
The only thing discussed here and in the links suggested some generic kits may contain smoking devices.  They didn't describe those authorized by the program.
And bottom line, Puna will not have government issued crack pipes.  Which is the opposite of the subject line for this thread.
