Seen any bad movies recently?

It’s a weird Indian action movie with some impressive scenes, but the whole of it is hallucinatory and interrupted with giant letters that signify nothing, slowly turning to exotic drum beats. On my deathbed I will be wishing for those nearly three hours back. This? https://youtu.be/NgBoMJy386M It looks awfully unbelievable, but that's Bollywood. Ok, I haven't seen this yet, but I have to ask: what the heck is going on in the UK these days?!

The premise of abandoned childhood playthings having to fend for themselves is intriguing but the decision to make a standard slasher flick is disappointing.

If I wanted bear horror, Iʻd go with Cocaine Bear.
Certainty will be the death of us.

Triangle of Sadness. Somehow it won at Cannes, but god it's tedious. 2.5 hours that could easily be cut down to 1.5. The last section was ok but first hour and a half were terrible and pointless. It's like people don't know how to make movies anymore, they think you can just come up with a premise and plot outline that sounds good and actual filmmaking is irrelevant.
Cocaine Bear at least looks like a good trashy movie.

I'm going to have to watch that now because the trailer is actually quite good!

When seeking a bad movie, one can always fall back on a Stallone flick. "Samaritan" does not disappoint in the stinker category, or at least the first few minutes do not.
That's all I could take. |
