Peppercorn Spice House (doesn't sound bland!)

Where Spoonful Cafe used to be.

It's run by the same people use ran the Lemongrass Cafe that was across the street.

Somebody try it and report back.

Is Lemongrass still open or have all the staff moved to the old Spoonful building?  Lemongrass cooked great food and thought it was in a good location, so hope they haven't completely moved.

 "Lemongrass cooked great food"

So you think that restaurant was in the great food variety?!?  Uh, okay.   My opinion is they were okay.  A slight step up from a greasy spoon type spot like L&L.

But anyway Lemongrass is open and never closed during the switch but appears to be under new management and going with the old name.

Our friend's palate comes from the British culinary experience which, let's be honest, is one of the most tepid and lackluster in the world.

This article does a deep dive into why - https://theoutline.com/post/8586/why-is-...ood-so-bad

Our friend's palate

I always thought the choice of a restaurant, music, and movies was simply a matter of personal preference.
Isn't that why restaurants even have a menu, because not everyone will want to order the same thing?

Personal culinary preference is informed by outside influences such as the diet of your mother while you are in utero, and the prevailing regional cuisine found during your formative years. Additionally, your genetic makeup also plays a role in what items you select from the menu.

As far as "music and movies", since the topic is food, I'll leave those for another thread.

Since the topic is a new (possibly non bland) Asian restaurant in Keaau, can you think of anything else that might be left for another thread?
