#1
Handsome husky found in lower HPP. He is now at the Keaau Humane Society.

So he's husky, handsome and available and was in your neighborhood, and you let him go?

Yes, sometimes I think I might be just a little too magnanimous. But if he wanders down here again......

Just because a dog is wandering doesn't mean he's available...he could have wandered off from home and gotten lost. The Humane Society was the right call -- and I'd be surprised if they didn't give the rescuer a right of first refusal if the dog isn't claimed by its rightful owner.

I was joking with Kelena because he is always talking about wanting a new boyfriend and his post could be read another way (husky GUY). I was willfully misreading it to have fun, not saying the dog was up for grabs to any finder. [Wink]

microchip your animals! Best way to recover them and it's inexpensive.

KathyH,

Gee. Does anyone get an "in" joke any more?

Anyway. The next time a handsome, husky, blue-eyed creature comes up my driveway, I'm gonna grab it by the collar and microchip it, available or not. This whole "available/unavailable" thing is so tiresome. If your dawg is unavailable, why is he running loose?

In the meantime, my girl is very snuggly and loves me to pieces, so I'm good! But keep up the good advice. Magic isn't working anymore!
