It's one of my favorite places. try the butter fish(black cod)

A really excellent place. Went with a group of five, and every dish was great, especially the butterfish as noted by Seeb. Added bonus: Unlike Kaleo's, you can actually enjoy quiet conversation.

Locally owned by the family of several of my former students, long time kama'aina who do a lot for the community and hire UH students for a lot of their wait staff, if you can get Jackie as your waitress she's the best!

You might ask if they have the Moi - historically, fish saved for the Alii. I had it once & it was like heaven.
