Anyone know what happened to the Rock Wall Zoo sign on Hwy 11? Looks like someone ran into it and destroyed it.

I was passing by and saw a white state vehicle being towed away and the area blocked off on Wednesday.

I drive by there virtually every day and it first showed signs of being broken weeks ago, mostly just at one end and you could still read the sign. But since then it has been steadily getting more and more broken up. At first it looked like the sign was being destroyed in a planned manner, maybe to be replaced, but now the damage looks much more random.
