The Thirty Meter Telescope Contested Case Hearings Officer recommends the CDUP for this project be granted. I received a copy of this document this afternoon. Please e-mail me if you'd like to read the hearing officer's recommendation.

This positive recommendation is a huge step forward. However, the TMT
project isn't out of the woods yet. The opponents can contest the hearing officer's findings and ultimately file a lawsuit attempting to invalidate the CDUP.
