The Mauna Loa Macadamia factory off of highway 130 will sell you as many macadamia trees as you want.

I got 3 nice ones for $20 each. These are the most common variety they use to produce their nuts so they should do well for you.

You just drive in where you see the sign next to the highway to the area where the tour buses go and ask someone there about buying trees. They will show you where to go. (very nice people)

I'd be there at 7:30 am if your interested in getting some of the exotic plants that many times seem to be extremely limited and sold out by 8:30am!

I was there at 7:30am and I got everything I was looking for. An Abiu tree...been wanting this a long time (they only had 6), a Miracle Berry, a Brazilian Plum and a Black Pepper Vine. Excellent selection this year!

I agree with the selection... DH wanted fiberless mini-mangos & with the help (lots of it this year) I was able to get 2 different ones that should give us some sweet rewards!

The prices are a little less than their on-line price list, and the guy who was helping me was one of their grafting specialists, so I learned a little more about grafted stock....

got my Meyers lemon and Tahitian lime for Pahoa farm and Fujikawa (wanted Linda) avocado for HPP.
Arrived 8am and parked at the end of the line out of the driveway, and left 8:30am at which time there were twice as many cars as 30 minutes prior. What a a mad house! Susie and her staff were full on in help and service mode. Thanks.
