No idea what days you are looking for...

There are some roadside stands that are open when they have & some of the very local markets sell farm fresh.

The Keaau market is open most days of the week (officially not Sunday & Monday, but sometimes there will be someone there then too)....how 'farm fresh' is based on knowing the vendors...but that goes with all of the farmers markets...Kinoole Saturday market has tried hardest to be local only...but ... still best to know the vendor

there are produce vendors at the Hilo market every day, usually until dark.

There's a new (been open about a week) roadside produce market in (approximately) Mountain View, highway 11 just makai of Kukui Camp Road. They only had citrus the other day, but there's now a sign out front claiming "micro greens".

Thanks. Bought a juicer and can really tell between farm fresh and not.

Yeah Fresh Farms just opened last week in mountain view if you are ever up that way...farm-direct organic produce and other farming goodies from the family farm. Located just past the elementary school in mountain view village (between the bakery and video store). And we are open on Sunday!

When juicing fresh greens does the flavor very much depending on slug content?
