Hilo Coffee Mill is holding a community yard sale this Saturday from 8am - 1pm. The yard sale will be held at the same time as the Mill's weekly farmers market, which features live entertainment and lots of great food.
My friend will have a fundraising booth at the yard sale (apparently there's about 10 booths participating in the yard sale.) She is trying to raise funds to travel to the East Coast to visit her father who has stage 4 cancer. There will be lots of great stuff: household items, (some with price tags still attached,) one-of-a-kind antiques, tools, women's shoes (some with price tags still attached), and clothing.
A local jewelry designer is donating several pieces of jewelry for her to sell as part of the fundraiser.
My friend said you can tell which booth is hers as she will be wearing a Boston Red Sox shirt.
