3rd Helicopter crash in state this season

Last evening a third civilian copter crashed in this state this season...and this was the 2nd civilian crash in Oahu with mechanical problems... luckliy this was NOT in downtown Honolulu this time.... not sure why this one, but the last 2 crashes were human error:

in flight school - we were taught never to say "crash"

its another case of "inadvertent contact with the ground"..... grin

This is why I keep saying "helicopter flight path should be a mandatory real estate disclosure."

Airplane, not helicopter.

The Navy initially reported the crash as a helicopter, but they were wrong.

4 seater airplane on what looks like a private flight.

Interesting it took over 12 hours to update the type of aircraft.... Thought the Navy could tell the difference...
