I'm glad you are pro cannabis, but our movement suffers when misinformation that is put out into the community. We need to deal in truth & science if we are ever gonna turn around 80 years of prohibition!
Why is Hawaii falling behind the movement? Simple, we have many lawmakers that lack proper judgement. They keep worry about seeming soft on crime, and I ask them, "where is the crime"? Revenue will be the "thing", that sways these cowards called Lawmakers to do the right thing.
But let's be honest here. I'm a breeder of cannabis, and Hawaii does not have a unique strain that only grows in Hawaii. People no need come to Hawaii for cannabis grown here. It's way cleaner is you get it from a medical dispensary on the mainland.
I'd like to think our Lawmakers are progressive when it comes to medical cannabis, but Law Enforcement is always breathing down their necks, and whispering, "don't you be the first one soft on crime in Hawaii"!
Also, I'll close with this. This is 2014, nobody comes to Hawaii anymore just for our cannabis, those days are long gone thanks in part to OPeration GH. They removed Hawaii then most popular strain called "Elephant', a wonderfully strong smelling saliva thru their Greenharvest raids
