rainbow eucalyptus trees?

Anyone grown any of these trees? We've seen a few in HPP and Hilo. Heard they are hard to grow from seeds.

I have heard that these grow easily from seed, so much so that they can be invasive.

IN front of where you pay your water bill in HIlo, is a stand of these. I wanted to plant them until I saw this group there. They are pretty nasty when they get full grown. Pretty bark, but no much else- from what I could see. Go check them out!

Even young rainbow eucalyptus produce numerous volunteer seedlings. We cut down two of them, maybe 15-20' tall, after finding keiki all over our garden beds and even considerable distances away.
