HILO, BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) -
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for parts of the Big Island until 3:15 p.m.
At 12:12 p.m., radar showed showers producing moderate to heavy rainfall impacting both the Hilo and Puna District. These showers will combine with prior rainfall to produce localized flooding.
Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Hilo, Papaikou and Hawaiian Paradise Park. This advisory may need to be extended beyond 3:15 pm if Heavy Rain persists.
