Delta9r - Is it Candy's ? They open at 4:30am .We used to get breakfast there every morning prior to going work in Kona for our construction jobs .The only other place open that early is Kens .

Had to be candy's. Always stopped there for food when I used to get off work at UHH at 0400.

The "Kandy's" I remember is next to Hokama Chevron on Kawailani and they had a laundromat. The place I'm talking about was in the quonset hut building attached to Suisan fish market, on the opposite side from the bridge. The name changed somewhere along the way and I haven't been there in about 15 years. I might have the name wrong, but I thought it was "Reina's."

I used to go there for breakfast, and after work I'd go to KTA deli. The aunties there used to load up my plate.
