Taking another deep breath. [Smile]

Sharing our own Kalapana keiki, Dennis Pavao, and his rendition of "Puna Kuu Aloha".

The lyrics express such love for our aina, our Puna.

Mahalo, Opihikao. Dennis Pavao is new to us -- love this song. Puna has always had a strong draw for my husband and me. We have lived here for only 7 months, but have visited for years. Thanks for your postings and your wisdom. JMO you are a valued addition to this forum.

Aloha kakahiaka all! Mahalo for your indulgence. [Smile]

Dennis Pavao passed away, but his music will live on forever. One of the "golden" voices of Hawai'i. His heart was also "gold".

Nahenahe (soothing, calm, etc.) music is wonderful for the soul at the end of the day. It is a new day, and much to be done. Thus, I share a "pule pahu" chant with you to get the body centered, ready to face all challenges.

Under the direction of the master kumu, Darrell Lupenui (bless his soul), Mark Kealii Hoomalu brings forth progressive hula in this "pule pahu" (prayer drum). Drawing from the energy, and carrying on.

Enjoy and be safe.
