Anyone know where I can get my motorcycle inspected in Pahoa? I don't want to go all the way to Hilo if I can avoid it. Thanks!

I don't think there is one in Pahoa/HPP/Keaau. I think Hilo is your only choice. And, you have to make an appointment these days wherever you go.

Reason being: the "new improved" safety system only allows two inspections per hour, to "keep the inspectors honest".

Just got mine done at Stan's Fast Lube & Repair Pohaku st in Hilo. No one closer to Pahoa.

Stan usually does my car and our two scooters. He doesn't do "mopeds" (49cc engines etc.). Nice guy, and does a good job.
