Keith Kaapana Cummings was taken into custody Friday afternoon following a brief standoff

Middle name "Kaapana." That'll throw off the trackers from the mainland.
Rule #1 in the Federal Witness Protection Program, don't get your name (or your other newer name) published in the paper.
Just curious, but apart from the FBI, who would know if Puna is still a federal witness protection program area? PT, could you tell us?

So what was first posted as being some sort of FBI action in Hawaiian Beaches turns out to be a purely local law enforcement action/stand off dealing with a crazy guy threatening to burn down the house he lives in. Guess that tells something about how accurate the coconut wireless is.

"I would say to them, 'Tell me what's your favorite place in the U.S.?' " Shur said, "and they'd say, 'I always wanted to go to Hawaii,' or that they had family in Texas or Florida. And in my mind that's three places that they are not going. Because when you tell me you want to go to Hawaii, I know you have told all your friends that."
Conversely, please don't throw me into that brier patch also happens.
