State rankings for integrity

Public Integrity ranked state governments for integrity and ethics based on laws on the books to deter corruption. Hawaii got a D+ but still ranked 4th in the nation, no one got above a C. I am not sure "laws on the books" is an accurate measure, if your state had a long history of integrity in government it might not have any laws covering corruption in government.

That's a pretty worthless measure given the laxity with which laws are enforced in these parts . . . unless you're talking about marijuana production, of course. We have to enforce that one to keep the cops entertained and the cash and property confiscations coming in.
