dog paws and cinder

One of our dogs has painful paws from the cinder. His lawn is mostly grass but the cinder walk ways and his occasional digging are taking their toll. Any ideas or miracle creams?

You will all be happier, canine and human, if you top off all your cinder pathways and driveway with gravel. The cinder breaks down quickly into a dust which tracks into your home.

I second the booties idea. A must have for Hawaii.

I put liquid bandage on my pooch's paws. He tends to wear them raw from running at times and he will tear off booties or bandages. The liquid bandage stays on very well.
