Star Wars

Well we bought tix on fandango, showed up an hour early for 11 am show and had best seats in the house. Slowly the theater filled w only the front rows open by showtime. Thought it was as good as could be, mix of new and old, lots and lots of laughs like it should be, Han Solo as cool as ever etc. But w did have a bummer crowd... No cheers at appropriate moments, no gasps on reveals., etc. oh well.. Still took me a couple of hours afterward to come down from the adrenaline.

If you are waiting for streamig or DVD, you are missing one of life's greatest pleasures. Ok for subsequent viewings but it is meant to be LOUD and BIG.

Playing a fireplace on your TV is not uncommon for Christmas. Here's one with a Star Wars twist:

The Darth Vader Yule Log (5 hours of uninterrupted Star Wars fire pit relaxation): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVJzibVS2YM

Just invest in a realistic screen saver.

Saw today's matinee. It's been relegated to the tiny theater with only a few rows but it is still a 3D screen. Counting ourselves there were only 7 people.

If you haven't gone yet, time is running out. I'm not going to give any "spoilers" but if you are on the fence, definitely see it on big screen / 3D. The movie is good on it's own but the big screen / 3D / surround sound is what makes it great.

Glad we didn't wait for DVD.

ETA: changed 6 to 7 (must count oneself)
