Particularly Nasty Round of Cold Bug

I've had it 6 days. I haven't coughed this much in ~20 years. Some days its a little better, some days a little worse. Definitely don't feel like I'm in an "upswing"- today might be the worst day yet.

The wife is recovering from pneumonia (diagnosed with chest xrays). She was diagnosed a few weeks before I got sick so don't think the two are related. Besides she had a high fever and my temp is fine. Hers was bacterial, I'm confident I have a virus from Hell. I blame Lowes.

The wife had a bad cough for over a month. Me, just a little cough and headache behind the eyes.

Got it over three weeks ago. Worst cold ever, then to ears in week two and went to Urgent Care. Asked whether it was viral, got
antibiotics but saw no change. In fact, seemed to relapse, Still don't know what it was.
