My dream has just begun!!! All permitted. Damn I am glad I know people, I hope you got the best quotes. But your building a big house is why the prices are high! My budget is low ($30,000) but I am building small, and a small lot, 3-100 watt panel solar system, hand cleared pad with the use of some heavy equipment for clearing part of the land and drive. I know someone with catchment and septic company. I have (contractor)friends that will help me with foundation and roughing the frame work/roofing and gutters. Have a friend to do sheet rock, tape and float. I paint, also have an electrical guy for free that is a contractor. My biggest cost is plumbing, septic and water catchment of course.Friends that help get paid by the hour or job BTW!!! Good luck to you!
