Massage Therapist Recommendation

Does anyone have a recent recommendation for someone who does a gentle muscle massage in the Pahoa or Hilo areas? I did a search but couldn't find anything recent. Mahalo.

There are several at the Makuu Farmers market on Sundays. Never tried them so I don't know how good they are

Thank you for the reply, macuu222. We've seen the tables (and customers!) at the market as well, but was hoping that someone here on Punaweb might be currently taking massage with someone and could give a recommendation. It's specifically for chronic back pain.

Aki - my neighbor said she has a wonderful massage therapist - gentle massage for back pain included (same problem for me, so know where you're coming from!). Give me a day or two to get the name (apologies, off-island right now). I think she said $50 for a home visit or $40 for you to go to them. I can't remember if that's 30 minutes or an hour, but will check (I think it's an hour).

There is a woman who does massage in the back of the building with the chiropractor's office in it across from the NAPA store on main street in Pahoa. She has worked on both myself and my partner regularly and is as gentle or as deep as you want. Excellent prices too. I don't have her card or contact info handy, sorry I can't give you that too.
