Accused bank robber released in "snafu"
#1
According to the HTH, accused Pahoa bank robber Anthony Gover was released from jail by mistake. This quote is priceless:

“There’s a snafu over at the jail. It’s not the first time,” said Deputy Prosecutor Rick Damerville.

For those of you not familiar with WWII slang, "snafu" means "situation normal, all f#@%^d up." Yeah, I'd say Damerville nailed it with his nomenclature this time. Situation normal yet again with our local law enforcement.

A bald black guy sitting on a pile of cash in Pahoa. He'd probably be more comfortable in jail.
