Is it Raining in Nanawale?
#1
My catchment is down to about halfway...(yea, looked...) it is size of a swimming pool. Should I be worrying on running out of water? Weather has been great and my neighbor mentioned something about Hilo putting out a notice for reducing consumption. ah...just a tad nervous. Should I be? is it raining? Should I do my rain dance around the fire? Mahalo

Raining lightly in Pahoa Village right now. Off and on.
Assume the best and ask questions.

...homes that depend on catchment for water on the Big Island are being asked to order water early, because of heavy demand....

Depends on where you live in Nanawale. Those areas closer to the ocean often don't get as much rain as we do at the top of the subdivision (closer to the Hwy 132 entrance). I got good showers throughout last night and still having sprinkles this morning. Cross your fingers for the trades sticking around. And it will be sure to dump the minute you pay for water to be hauled in. [Big Grin]

Mahalo Frankie! Fingers crossed, we are last road close to ocean. Neighbor and guests will keep us posted. The previous owners of our home never had water shortage for the five years they lived there, so I will stay calm and do a little dance...[:0]

your funny, actually I did! when I got home from work, greeted my cats and dog. Then picked up one cat, who loves to "dance", and I proceeded to chant and hum around the living room. My hubby walks in and sees me, "what are you doing now?", well, we need rain in Nanawale so I am reaching out to rain goddess...He just grins and asks, "you don't have your feathered staff w/bells?" ahh no [V], its in storage and packed up for our move!(yes, I am taking it to the BI!)typical day. And...actually, it is about to rain here in Mass! (not snow.....) yea. (I am part Am.Indian, its in my blood [Big Grin]) Get out and dance in the mist and rain! Sooo much fun.
