Intense but weirdly calm video of lava taking a house. Most interesting part for me was what I assume was a propane tank popping and the resultant fireball. The occupant didn't even flinch and remarked "There she blows". The tank appeared to be about 20' from house, viewed through a window which didn't break. There was fire all around the alleged tank which was likely due to the tank venting either through a pressure relief vent or the rubber hose to the grill burning through, then POW, sounded like an explosion but couldn't have met the strict definition since no shockwave, broken glass, or shrapnel.
There wasn't much explanation of what was going on. It looked like there was no siding, like you are looking between studs. Whoever was filming noted that the top of the lava was even with his feet and he was on the second floor. Another question answered (how thick is the lava front). So one layer is at least one story tall, probably two. Could easily be lots thicker. OTOH lava trees are formed by liquid lava receding, right so anything is possible? Anyway anything not made of thick windowless reinforced concrete would certainly be crushed.
