We need a giant WALL ... Please Santa.
If you are talking about a wall on the Mexican border, it will not keep treacherous ferriners out of Hawaii. In fact, it will likely have the EXACT opposite effect. When dangerous women and children can’t walk 1000 miles to escape destitution and crime, migrants will pay fisherman, former drug runners, and Zodiac operators to take them into America via the next best way possible - - a sea crossing to Hawaii.
And which island is closest to Mexico? Big Island.
Which district on Big Island is closest to Mexico? Puna.
Build a wall and it only follows, logically, that Puna is next up for a Fox News video flotilla of seafaring Central American refugees arriving on our doorstep.

I didn't see an update on the last two shooting incidents in Puna, whether they were drug related as some have suggested:
Tuesday, Dec. 11:
* HPD is responding to investigate a report of an abandoned vehicle on Kahakai Boulevard in Hawaiian Beaches. A fatal officer-involved shooting resulted from the incident.
* HPD and HFD units are responding to Fern Acres for reports of a standoff situation involving a hostage at a residence at 8 a.m.
But then found this on the police blotter from the other side of the island, the very next day:
Wednesday, Dec. 12:
* HFD is responding to reports of a person with a cut to a finger from a coconut at a local hotel in South Kohala at 1:45 p.m.
