Does the phrase "Fukushima born" highlight Mazie's place of birth as if to say she is less America because of it?

@hopte,,,She was born in American Samoa.

Someone asked whether Tulsi was a resident of Puna.
I said no, and listed some of the places she lived.
Frank, I've answered one of your questions about Mazie in the Puna Politics section.

"Keaau is a census-designated place in Hawaii County, Hawaii, United States located in the District of Puna. The population was 2,010 at the 2000 census. The population increased by 12.1% to 2,253 at the 2010 census. Wikipedia"

If Keaau is in the Puna District, and Tulsi, I have read, was among the first class to graduate from the, then newly built Keaau High School, looks to me like she lived in the Puna District at the time.

yeah, I agree that it is a wise decision to base your vote off of Rolling Stone magazine.

Base my decision to vote off of a Rolling Stone magazine? Maybe let it influence my decision along with other information. What is wrong with that? Do you not gather all the information that you can when voting for one of these grease-ball politicians?

Also why the heck are we talking about Mazie here? There is a perfectly good thread started already reserved just for this topic already started in the political section.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m pretty burnt out on endless campaigning. I’d rather enjoy endless summer.

The midterm election was in November, we get a one month break and then the 2020 campaigning starts up again in January for the next election?

One month break every two years? Nov 2020 is a long way off and a lot can change before then.

I’m not watching the news. Smile and get out and enjoy life. Aloha.

I am not impressed with your intention to disparage broadly without much actual basis. What is your basis for the gross generality that everything she says is "toxic fallout"?

I am not a big fan of Senator Hirono but I find your language offensive... reminds me of things I heard said when I lived in the south for ten years.
