The new FedEx building next to the Hilo Airport USPS is gigantic. It seems a little big to just be servicing the Hilo area.

The old FedEx facility has a fairly large work and staging area with loading conveyer behind the building. But even so, the new building will be a substantially larger work area for them. Once FedEx moves, within a month or so many of the old airport buildings along the road from the old control tower (across from the NAZ) to the former Aloha Cargo building will be torn down. The state is leaving the old control tower. Lots of asbestos in those structures, so they may fence off or block some access in that area during demolition.

Destroyed my racing bike on Monday. Ordered a new one on Amazon Monday evening. It arrived Wednesday right at my door in HPP with free shipping and I am "not" a prime member. What can I say. Amazon shipping to Hawaii ROCKS!!

The biggest delay I've found recently is the time it takes from being "delivered" to the time I get the notice at the Pahoa post office. Twice this month I've had to go to the counter, show them the tracking info and have them get the packages for me where they had been left on a shelf, no notice to my box.
Certainty will be the death of us.
