My German Shepherds started barking and woke me up right before the quake.

USGS - “It was not the result of any volcanic activity," said Brian Shiro, seismic network manager for the U.S. Geological Survey Hawaiian Volcano Observatory. "We think it’s due to continued settling and southward movement of that part of the island, which is normal. This looks like a purely tectonic phenomenon just movement along a fault.”

Love it, 8F. When I lived in CA I had a shelf filled with small stones. I could detect magnitude by how man fell down. Though preparing the beer cans sounds like more fun than stacking stones. :-)

I slept through it.
But, it did wake M'Lady up.
She told me about it the next day.

Was a Democrat until gun control became a knee jerk, then a Republican until the crazies took over, back to being a nonpartisan again.
This time, I can no longer participate in the primary.
