Maku'u Market fenced in now

not worth $2

Not worth the drive time.

We need the Pahoa market back

I'm building a greenhouse instead, produce doesn't get any fresher than that.

I agree. I sold at that market for 6 or 7 years - organic veggies, honey, and lots and lots of Hawaiian style potholders. I really miss it! I t was a good way to spend a Sunday morning also. Lots of interesting people came thru there...

I bought a clear tarp that roughly fit an HPM carport kit we weren't using and setup a "greenhouse" for our tomatoes with little effort or cost. Yeah, it's an eyesore temporary solution but it's not like a greenhouse needs a urinal. And the tomatoes we grow are just as good as a 20k greenhouse.

Sounds good -- what days/hours are you open? How much is parking?

...funny you should ask, you can find our stuff at the Orchidland Farmer's Market. When we have it and we go. No tomatoes right now.

Parking is free!

Has anyone asked Sal about re opening the Pahoa Farmer's Market?
Assume the best and ask questions.

A project of that scale would require at least two urinals...

Do you know what the rule/policy is on porta-potties? They certainly are easy to locate anywhere and service.
