Yes, excellent info. We've boarded our big old labrador at both places, and both are very good. Lucky D is much nicer, much more space at a cooler elevation. Nicer property and bigger, better kennels. If flying out of Kona, it's a good option. Also, we've done an occasional Kona getaway from time to time over the years, and most places don't take dogs. We would kennel her at Lucky D, then pick her up early in the morning and spend the day together, take her back later in the day. She could go to the dog beach by the harbor, and other dog friendly spots we found. Just an idea if your family adventures includes your dog!
