Building Floor

We are building a 3 bedroom 2 bath Huaka model from HPM no carport. And the 10 day time frame depended if it did not rain and all materials were there.
Thanks for letting me know that the materials needs to be ready for the contractor to build the house rather than waiting until the day they are there.
Any tips are helpful as this is my first house owner builder.
As of today the sheer walls are in place and the electrician put in the ground wire.
And by the way we have children and we are renting a place while our home is being built. Would you suggest us living off of the land or staying put. Has anyone lived with their children on their land while building their house. As I am not much of a camping out kind of person. But my spouse is all for it.

I have friends at Kapoho that camped with their 2 kids for about a year while building, kids thought it was a great adventure. Do you have catchment in and some sort of lua & bathing facilities? That's an absolute must.

We have a catchment but we are waiting for the plastic ring that goes around the top rim to protect the liner. I saw pictures of a water hose hooked up to the pump. Can we just hook it up like that without burning out the pump.
There is the septic in also and we are renting a lua.
We would have to pick up something for taking a shower.

I don't think there would be any adverse effect. Another friend lived about 3 years with a paloma nailed to a tree, using gardenhoses and a 12V pump for showering and dishes. She still has the paloma and pump in good working order, 10 years now (since hard-plumbed).

Thanks for all the information it really helps. If it takes too long to build the house we will be moving on the land. Any additional information is helpful as I'm nt much for learning after you make the mistake.

Does anyone know how long it takes to put up the floor on a 24/44 post and pier home.
