I would like to give a big thank you to the crew at Yamada.
SB called me about 1 PM Friday from the MJ site, and told me "I needed to get my foot in their [Con-Ag's] A&&". He was so irritated that our friend who was standing near me in KTA looked around because she heard SB's voice (over the phone).
So SB had ordered a less than min truck of "grout mix" (and pay a premium for) - it is what you use to do more architectural grade finishes. They sent him 5 yards of rock mix (used for foundations and slabs)!! The concrete started coming out of the shute when he said "hey hold the phone" or something more likely unrepeatable. It was a 2" cap sloped to 1/2" so no 3/4" rock could be in it (they were making a change to the ferro cement tank lid that had been poured previously by Pete Epperson).
I got on the phone to Yamada and they had it straightened out, credited, and a credit for the extra crew time, and new truck on its way before I got out of the store about 15 mins later. In fact I saw the truck round the corner at Pauinako going towards keaau as I walked out to my car...
Thank you Kelly Yamada, Roirdon and the Office and Driver Crews!
