Once there permanently I'll be bringing my 80 year young mom with me. She has some short term memory disorger, but otherwise is fine. I'll be around Pahoa and am looking for regular senior center type places she could go 2 or 3 times a week. Loves bingo?

Cindy, there is an adult day care in Hilo, (Hawaii Island Adult Care, 34 Rainbow (near Rainbow Falls & the Medical Center) There are seniors activities in some of the subdivisions (HPP, Orchidland & Hawaiian Shores etc/Rec) that might offer your mom some thing. I seem to remember also seeing a Bingo sign, possibly at the Keaau Eagles club???
