Hawaiian Beaches Water
#1
I had a rep from Miller & Leib on the phone this morning to tell them I'd completed digging and they could come and do some work they were waiting for. While she was on, I asked about the status of new hook-ups. Two years is the number she gave, with a hundred names on the waiting list established three months ago. My neighbor, who just finished his new home, has put in a catchment tank, which he indends to convert to a swimming pool once he gets hooked up; silver lining!

How can I find out more about the water situation in the Hawaiian Beaches area, and how do I get on the list? (I have been trying to save to build there eventually, but the longer I wait the more codes are changed (septic), and just recently heard something about a new well being needed. Mahalo.

Call Miller and Lieb at (808) 965-9882. Also, be aware that if your property is in Hawaiian Shores Recreation Estates, you are not served by Miller & Lieb, but by the Hawaiian Shores Community Association.
