Cat sick, Waiʻōpae MM rental available

Our 24 year old cat has failing kidneys and we had to cancel our Merrie Monarch trip this year. He's been a faithful member of our family for many years and we couldn't leave him alone.

We rented a beautiful 3bd, 2ba house on Wai#699;#333;pae and will not get a refund unless someone rents it. We rented if from April 16 to May 4. http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p331522

It’s about 35 minutes from Hilo and across the street from the best snorkeling on Hawai’i Island.

What kind of food have you fed the cat for the 24 yrs? Wow

He ate Friskies wet food and Goodlife Recipe indoor dry food for the last couple of years.. And we've kept him indoors because the first time we let him out he got grazed by a car! Erlinda, You may be able to piece together something, as craigslist housing wanted has a couple of listing for Merrie Monarch housing wanted & one that is looking for after Merrie Monarch into May (Diver wanting close to ocean)...

Although you may not get a total re-coup, it may be close enough -and with luck, maybe the Vacation Rental people will allow this...maybe even take them directly & you can get some (if not all ) of your investment returned

I do hope you get the refund & your kitty is held in peace & love through the rest of its' life.
