Puna Blue Card Holders Unite
#1
I would like to set up a meeting (with the hopes of establishing a regularly meeting schedule) with other blue card holders in Puna (I am in the Mt. View area.) I think it is important for us to be in regular contact in order to share notes, rumors, tips and genetic materials. We need to look out and care for each other. There is so much active legislation regarding our medical care, and I want to make sure our voices are heard. Please respond to this post, and maybe we can start to help each other out

Should I even inquire as to what a "blue card" is or is it the sort of thing one shouldn't ask about?

OK I’ll take the bait and run the line out a bit:

Here ya go for an explanation of blue cards and some background as to why it seems so topical lately -

To narrow the topic:

I’d sure like some help in beating bud mold in this high humidity environment, Im just having no luck!

The Mold kills the plant long before its mature. Any puna farmers care to help out? And how about all that talk about molasses?

thanks in advance for any local growing tips on this gardening forum

It was Crizzy.

She had a blog, Hawaiianhighlands, however, her domain hasn't worked in quite some time.

Oh, okay, folks with blue cards smoke/grow pot legally. Sheesh! Why the secrecy?

LOL....
Because some may not really have a medical need....

Plus, there is still a stigma to smoking dope in some levels of society.

I think I have been quite honest about my feelings... I just didn't realize what the color of the card was.

Other places and previously (I believe) I think I even mentioned on Punaweb about getting weed for my mom when she was going through Chemo.

My mom never had a medicinal card... but I sure wasn't going to let her sit there and go through the pain of chemo as she had previously w/out weed. (yes... she has had cancer multiple times and been on chemo most of the times during recovery)

I know TOO many people that I have the upmost respect for that do smoke weed without a card.

Whether they choose to be open and honest about what they do... doesn't really concern me.

I know that it has medicinal benefits from watching first hands the effect that it has on people going through Chemo... **** and for that matter... people going through PMS!
