I just got the mail in ballot today and its due in by Friday
Section 1 amounts to a CCR, and Section 3 has no Due Process both of these things put you at the total whim of the board of directors at the time
Both of theses things are bad for residents and land owners alike

I haven't received mine yet, but given the state of postal delivery here and between here and the mainland, I have grave doubts over whether there is time for a legitimate poll to be achieved in the time allotted. I don't know what the rules are in terms of percentage of ballots returned for a binding vote, but we need to be looking at this closely in that regard. At least we're not voting on $12,000,000 in roads bonds, eh?
Sarcasm aside, I can see a move to void this thing at some point. Unfortunately, the next General Membership Meeting where such a move could be enacted by owner iniative is not until the Fall.
