Greg, what makes podcasting so awesome is anybody can do it! When it first came out it was commercial free. Now some people feel the need to pay for their content. Small players on internet like you & I don't have to pay for much of anything. Did I tell you there is no censorship either. Do what you want, say what you want!!!

As far as a how-to goes...

1] download free iTunes for osx or windows:

2] learn about podcasts:

Note that the podcasts available via iTunes is a subset of the podcasts available web-wide...but iTunes has a large and representative pools of podcasts.
