Ainaloa Community Center Long House Free Chili Dinner!
Governor Candidate, Mufi Hannemann will meet with Puna residents on Friday, September 10th, at the Ainaloa Community Center Long House (982-9404) at 16-303 Ainaloa Blvd from 4-6pm. The “Puna E Komo Mai” event will provide Puna residents with an opportunity to meet Mufi in person, hear his proposals and priorities first hand, and enjoy a free chili dinner. Hannemann will speak on topics such as Highway 130, agriculture, sustainability and the Puna Makai Alternative Route (PMAR), all important and familiar topics for Puna Makai residents.
Sounds of Polynesia band will open the event at 4pm while everyone is served. Dinner is rice and ono chili from Kaleo’s restaurant in Pahoa. Mufi will speak during the dinner, and there will be time for questions before he moves on to greet more constituents at the Malama Market and throughout Pahoa town.
