nice thing about lilikoi, the seedy pulp can be scooped out into a cup & frozen, then thawed when needed, smooshed through a sieve, mixed with sugar & the syrup can be made into a wonderful drink! (freezing the pulpy seeds helps loosen them for smooshing through a sieve)

Smooshing is one of my all time favorite technical phrases! Right up there with"Brain Fart".

In my post above, I said I recommend planting an orange tree. DUH, brain fart. I meant to say a dwarf orange. But truly I think the tangelos do better than the oranges, and tangerines really love this climate.
Rene that was great pruning advice, I know the principles but you reminded me that I have not done it with my trees. Do you have a way to cope with crab spiders in the orchard? I am so allergic to them, and they always bite me when I go among my fruit trees from November to May ... and I am gardening way less because I got sick of always having itchy welts.
