Mynah Bird was, until yesterday, a radio personality who would do a buy/sell/trade swap meet on his show every morning. However, the station owners just pulled the plug on their three stations (KHBC, Kona FM and KIPA-AM) so as of now, Mynah Bird and his radio personality colleagues are out of a job.

Auwe! We used to get some of the best stuff on Mynah bird. Of course, that was before the internet and Craig's List, but it was still fun listening to everyone call in. I was so happy way back when because I had a new phone with "instant redial" on it. Whoohoo! High tech, that was. Will another radio station pick them up, do you think?

Have many folks used a lot of Hardi board around here? I've had a bit of it and it seems exceedingly brittle. I dropped it and it shattered. Is this normal for Hardi boards?

I've used a lot of Hardipanel here in Hawaii. It is a bit brittle if you bend or drop it but so is glass and that doesn't stop us from using it in buildings does it?

I have used it on 3 4 houses and not a problem. I do not especially like the looks of hardi-panels but like the planks.

We have used the smooth Hardipanel to redo our interior walls....
Have not noticed extreme brittleness - in fact we do have to flex the panels to get them into our SIP tracks, with no problems,...

I will note that HPM had a panel product that was VERY brittle, and they were seeling it off fairly inexpensive... looked just like Hardipanel, but brittle as a twig... it would break on the pallet, lucky for us the warehouse guys were very honest about the product ...
