Sorry for the misinformation about the Keaau parade...Someone in our T4T organizing meeting insisted it was gonna be the same evening as the Pahoa parade. I'm glad it's not, to tell the truth. Now everyone can go home after the Pahoa parade and hoolaulea, then come to the big Toys For Tots Rock & Roll Dance and Pupu Party that evening at the Akebono.

Admission for the T4T dance is a $20 ticket OR an UNWRAPPED, NEW toy or child's present. Entertainment lineup includes Bo Lozoff, Dave Seawater's IBIS, Kaliko Guyz, Dan Nixx aka Elvis, and more. The silent auction is shaping up nicely, with a Mauna Kea Beach Hotel Sunday brunch gift certificate for two, Willie K CDs, a nice Big Island Candies basket, lots of rock-n-roll memorabilia and other items that will help with your Christmas gifting. Luquin's will be manning the bar and when we're talking pupus, we're talking HEAVY pupus...don't eat supper before this event, which will take place from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.
