High surf advisory is up for most north and east shores across the state through Thursday night.
Faces of up to 22 feet are expected along northern shores, and up to 8 feet out east.
Inexperienced surfers and swimmers should stay out of the water and well away from the shore break. The large swell will produce areas of strong rip currents.
