I'll start a new topic called SENIOR CENTER or maybe Senior Learning Center.
It dovetails on this but deserves its own spot because the "Senior Celebration" is now an over with event.
To let everyone know, the event was quite a success. A good number of people came to the table I was manning and signed up for the Computer Classes expected to be taught at the new Firehouse Senior Learning Center. Everyone who participates in this Forum is already way beyond the currently planned Computer Classes, but what can it hurt to mention here that these classes are a small part of what is planned for the Center.
The Center will not actually be open and functioning until some future undetermined date.
"Undetermined" because both Politics and Building Maintenance are involved. Both are likely to push the REAL opening until after June; Not my desire, just my opinion.
